Hunting Trout? Or whatever they call it
This ones going to be kind of short and sweet because I really have no idea what I’m doing with a fishing pole. I bought a fishing pole last spring with hopes to get out and try my luck at a little trout fishing, but I ended up giving the pole to my little brother, Gavin, because he was going up to his friends cabin and they do some fishing up there. He ended up breaking the tip of the pole so I bought another one this spring, with the same hopes. I finally gave it a shot and went out to my buddies land that has a good trout stream behind it. I threw on my waders because that’s what the hardcore guys do, I don’t know if it was really necessary or not, but I went and walked upstream, casting all over the place. I walked for probably and hour, and didn’t catch anything but some leaves, got my lure stuck in a tree, and slipped on quite a few rocks. I did see one little trout swim up to my lure, but I think it was a little bit to big for him. All in all it was super nice and relaxing, really beautiful down there with snow melting off the lime stone walls along the river, ill definitely be going out again to see what I can make work. If you guys have any tricks or tips on how to not suck at trout fishing feel free to reach out, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for reading guys!
